I always loved school. I loved being with friends and I loved learning. I did not know that someday I would be a teacher until I had children of my own. They helped me to remember what it felt like to be curious about everything and how wonderful it felt to find out answers to my questions. I also started to remember how very much I enjoyed being in school.
I went back to college to get a Master's degree in elementary education long after I had earned my Bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm so happy that I did.
My hope is that I can help children to find answers to their own questions. I hope that I can help them to discover what they are good at and what they love to learn about and do. I hope that boys and girls in my class will know how special they are and someday use their talents to benefit the people in their community.
